About The Role:
An Energy Consultant will be a key member of the department; they will be responsible for liaising with partners, prospective clients, and current clients. The role will require extensive knowledge of the industry and a good understanding of the administration and management of the sales process. The successful candidate will receive on-the-job training and will be supported by Team Leaders and Directors, working alongside them throughout the entirety of the sales process. You will be guiding sales representatives, generating leads, managing key accounts, and conducting detailed research into the client’s current energy usage, compliant with company standards.
Responsibilities:
- Building a strong client base from lead generation.
- Overseeing the entirety of the sales process, from lead generation to client onboarding, with further account management post-sale.
- Analysing the client’s current energy usage and charges from obtained bills to see where savings can be made.
- Writing reports and mapping total energy usage, making informative suggestions regarding client energy consumption.
- Developing ideas and plans for actionable solutions regarding the client’s business Energy Management, with consideration of renewable solutions.
- Presenting ideas and findings with the potential to present on-site to prospective clients.
- Writing detailed Energy Management proposals for prospective clients, with the potential to write for multi-site businesses.
- Developing relationships with partners, prospective clients, and current clients. There will be a great emphasis on client care and answering queries.
- Supporting clients, referring to Directors and Team Leaders for advice and support.
- Assisting the sales team where necessary i.e., picking up any sales administration tasks or supporting any onboarding of clients.
- Proactively supporting their manager by suggesting new ideas and questioning thinking where appropriate.
- Consistently keeping up to date with trends and future events within the industry.

- No official training or experience is required but would be beneficial,
- No specific education qualifications are needed.
