In January, we bid a warm farewell to Ellie, a valued member of our operations team who embarked on a new phase in her professional journey. Ellie’s dedication and hard work significantly contributed to our team’s success, and as she pursued new opportunities, we expressed heartfelt gratitude for her contributions to Reduce My Costs. To commemorate Ellie’s time with us and wish her the best in her future endeavours, we organised a memorable farewell party at Kaltur in Newcastle.
While Ellie may no longer be part of our office daily, she will always hold a special place in the Reduce My Costs family. We eagerly anticipate hearing about her ongoing success in her new role. Here’s to Ellie, and may her future endeavours be filled with accomplishment and fulfilment!

National Pizza Day was a joyful occasion marked by a feast of delightful cheesy goodness. This year, we chose Domino’s to indulge in a variety of pizzas, ranging from the classic Margherita to the more adventurous BBQ chicken and pineapple. Our lunch was a resounding success, leaving us pleasantly stuffed as we returned to work. Gathering with colleagues, we relished the experience of savouring different pizzas, engaging in lunchtime conversations, and generously sharing the delectable Garlic & Herb sauce.

We experienced Bongo’s Bingo for the very first time this year – it was an exhilarating and unique event that we look forward to doing again – hopefully with a bit more luck at winning this time! Combining the excitement of traditional bingo with the energetic atmosphere of a nightclub, Bongo’s Bingo offers an unforgettable night out, outrageous prizes, hilarious dance-offs, and unexpected twists that kept everyone on their toes.

Our team recently took part in a heart-warming initiative to support Breast Cancer Awareness through a delightful bake sale. We put on our pink attire and showcased our culinary skills, contributing an array of homemade goodies, from pink-frosted cupcakes to creatively crafted cookies. The bake sale was more than just a display of our team’s culinary talents; it was a collective effort to raise awareness and contribute to a cause close to our hearts.
